Updated: Aug 3, 2021

Lavender fanatic? Me too.

Lavender by the Bay is an iconic Long Island Spot for all lovers of plants. The fields are located on the eastern portion of the island, in East Marion and Calverton. At both farms, you will be surrounded by over 80,000 English and French lavender plants, encapsulated with beautiful sight for the eyes, overwhelmed by the soothing lavender aroma. Here is everything you need to know about the visiting the East Marion fields!

What can I do at the fields?

1. First of all, frolic!

2. Second, take lots of pictures. The fields offer beautiful backgrounds that create Instagram-worthy pictures.

3. Walk. The fields provide 17-acres of scenic walking grounds.

4. Visit the shop.

When should I visit?

The field's largest bloom occurs during the first two weeks of July. This will be the French lavender. If you visit during mid-June or mid-September, you will find a smaller bloom. This will be English lavender.
